Hey music junkie,

I know I know. This newsletter is a few days late. But there's a good reason for it. I promise.

You see, I’ve been mostly offline for the past 5 days. Call it a digital detox. While disconnecting with tech and social media, I reconnected with nature, myself and the conscious community.

That was the vibe during Sankofa Camp.

In all honesty, that was the BEST camping experience I've ever had. Because it wasn’t about how cool your tent or outfit was. Heck, I repeated clothes too many times.

Instead, it was about how authentic you could be. And everyone accepted you as you are. Because that's what we Afreekans do ✊🏾

As always, I reviewed the whole experience for you on Instagram. Because we not only made friends but also family - and found a new home at Sparrow's Creek Ecocamp in Nkoroi. From camping in the rain to practising yoga on the grass, here’s the healing magic we experienced at Sankofa Camp.
